Hi,

Is there any workaround to get d'link switch to work with Tp-Link Deco BE5000? seems like it cannot forward packet   IEEE 1905.1 protocol.

My setup is something like this.

ISP Modem

   |                         Mesh B        Mesh D
Firewall              (office B)    (office C)

dlink SW #1 _ _ dlink SW #2 _ _ dlink SW #3

Hi,
When Deco nodes build Ethernet backhaul through D-Link switches, the Deco network may be unstable because the D-Link switches do not forward packets based on the IEEE 1905.1 protocol.

There are no options on the Deco to resolve this problem. You might consider changing another switch (such as TP-Link switch TL-SG108) or contacting D-Link switch's support to see if they have any suggestions.

Best Regards
