I have just purchased this outdoor Tapo C520WS camara. 

 

Unfortunatly there is a design flaw, as the power plug is too large to fit into an external IP66 socket as it doest allow the lid to close. Which is ironic seeing as its an outdoor camara.

 

Does anyone have a solutionis for a power plug and lead that will fit an exsternal IP66 socket and allow the lid to close

Hi, If you get a waterproof case and run an extension lead into that from your outdoor supply the camera adapter will fit within the waterproof case.

Thank you for your response with a solution, that requires additional expense and a route that I now no choice but to follow.

 

it would be more prudent if Tapo outdoor camara came with a plug that was designed to fit an outdoor weatherproof socket.

 

The technowledge is out there
