We completely understand how painful it must be to encounter such ads during this time. To address this, please try turning off promotional notifications in your Tapo app settings to see if it resolves the issue. Promotional notifications in the Tapo App are used to share new features, events, and special offers. If you find them distracting, you can turn them off while still receiving important service notifications. Go to Tapo App Me page (tap Me at the bottom right or the profile picture at the top left), select Notifications and switch off Promotions to stop receiving marketing notifications.

If the ads persist, could you kindly provide us with a screenshot of what you’re seeing? This will help our team investigate and work on a solution more effectively.
