Hello,

 

I just had to reset my camera because it would no longer connect to wifi.  The reset got me reconnected to wifi but now I have a new issue.  I cannot disable the microphone or speaker.  When I go into the main screen and touch the telephone icon I get the screen that lets me turn the mic and speaker off, but as soon as I leave that screen (close it) they both turn back on every time.

 

It's as if there should be a "Save" option somewhere, but there isn't?

I've tried restarting the camera and powering my cell phone off and then back on.  No change.

 

How do I stop the MIC and Speaker from automatically turning back on constantly?

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed description. The menu you accessed by tapping the telephone icon is for the two-way talk function. The volume settings for the microphone and speaker within this menu are designed for per-call adjustment and do not save your previous settings between uses. This is why they appear to revert each time.


To adjust the volume for general microphone pickup and alert sounds, please use the small speaker/sound icon on the main live view screen. This setting controls the overall audio levels and will be saved. We hope this clarifies the different controls.
