Unable to connect repeater TL-WA850RE to Huawei router (HG8245H)

Hello tto everyone,
As the title suggest, I'm experiencing problems trying to connect my repeater TL-WA850RE to extend the wifi network of my Huawei router HG8245H. I have followed the instructions of the quick instalation guide with no success both options, i.e. the configuration using WPS and the option using the web browser with the ethernet cable. At the end of the quick setup the configuration site shows the message "Connection failed. please check the host ssid or password". The router SSID and password are not the problem since I have some other devices connected to this router using the same SSID and password :-/.
Please, does anybody knows a solution for this?? If you need more informations, plese ask me.
