Hi All,

Please read this before consider buying this IP camera.

MODEL: NC450 2.0
Firmware: 1.1.2 Bulid 161013 Rel.C5814949

This is NO external SMTP server configuration available for this model





The only way for motion detection Email alert is to rely on TPLINKCLOUD server and "WHICH COME ONLY WITH 100 ALERT MONTHLY"

Once it hit the limit there will be no more email alert for the IP Camera with it MOTION DETECTED :mad::mad::mad:






I HAVE OWNED D-LINK, PROLIINK AND OEM IP CAM AND NONE OF SUCH CAMERA HAVE THIS KIND OF LIMITATION.

I SERIOUSLY REGRETTED GETTING THIS MODEL AND FELT CHEATED. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I agree with chl1980 ,
 [SIZE=5]My advice is:
don't buy this Ip Camera, becouse if you write in "product description" motion detection notification by email I understand that email have no limits.
If I had known about email limits, I would never have bought this camera.
What kind of surveillance can do by this camera?

I updated firmware (1.1.6. Built 161124) hoping to solve this issue, but didn't it

Hi, I have NC200 and I can set up a yahoo account in order to send emails (the limit is 100 mails per hour). I trying to find another mail account with bigger limit

Hi, the problem with NC450 isn't target email account, but the tplink cloud who send emails

Before I purchased the IP camera tp-link NC450 I have check the box of the product also in the internet about specifications of the camera and there is no information about the limitation of the number of notifications emails you allow. I tried config and setup and I don not see any smtp configuration. I have other camaras of the others manufactors like Dlink and the is no kind of limitation. Do you have any update or patch that could resolve this issue? If not I will be very disapointed with TP-link. Regards José Nunes

actually when it hits monthly limit, there will be an email for you to renew it. I think there are 5 times of renewal per month

Still does not seem to me an acceptable solution.

Because I need another IP camara, I will buy from DLink. So I will leave TP-Link.
