Hello,

Is it possible to connect to this camera over the Internet with Firefox without using the TP-Link Cloud?

I can do this in my local network, but if I try to connect over the Internet I get in this error message in Firefox:
"Error: Network timeout"

For a NC250 on a local network :

http://admin: "your password coded in base64"@192.168.0.33:8080/stream/video/mjpeg
rtsp://admin: "you password"@192.168.0.33:8080/h264_hd.sdp

For coding you password you can use : https://www.base64encode.org/

Outside your LAN you've got to forward a port in the NAT of your router or your box.
ex : from your box
ex : your external IP : 10.20.30.40
ex : NAT allow : port 222 to 192.168.0.33:8080

and then test : http://admin:"your password coded in base64"@10.20.30.40:222/stream/video/mjpeg

Ok for streaming & VLC works thru ISPY software but can not get to the base/network settings with ip address & Firefox anymore .Need to activate motion sensing & emails ?

After a few weeks playing around with the settings & finding i can not get a direct ip link to the camera , firefox plug in , no longer works etc ...i gave up. I now will set up the security system with Panasonic cameras.

No TP-Link camera picture in Firefox or any other browser.
TP-Link technical support is slow and bad.
This is my first and the last TP-Link camera!
