I bought the TL-MR6400 modem, inserted the SIM 4G TIM, configured, works, and surf the internet.
The problem is that I'm going to Forwarding> Virtual Servers, I do the door opening configuration but
The doors remain closed.

Grazie , cordialità

Model : TL-MR6400
Hardware Version : MR6400 v1 00000000
Firmware Version : 1.0.12 Build 160322 Rel.33912n
Provider: Swan
Country: Slovakia

I have problem with DDNS NOIP. Administration in router show other IP address, as web whatismyipaddress.com. NOIP show same IP as web whatismyipaddress.com, but this IP not working with NOIP. In administration is IP address 100.64...., but NOIP or whatismyipaddress.com write IP address 84.245.... When I copy IP address from router administration to internet browser, or paste IP address manualy in NOIP administration, all is OK and DDNS working. But my provider change IP address every day and router update IPaddress on NOIP website to old type 84.245... Any solution how fix it?

If your provider change IP address then the router should updates IP address on NOIP website. So the problem is the router does not update the correct IP address? Do a ping test, ping the DDNS and see the IP address it solves. And also did you connect the tplink to a bridge modem?

I'm bumping this thread because I have the same problem as OP. THE router is mr6400 v1, latest firmware (2016 one)My ddns from noip.com is not updating, and on the ddns setup when I go to login with my username and pass it keeps posting "DDNS not launching".I tried pinging my DDNS host and it returned with yesterday's ip address. So it's not updated. Why is there a firmware from 2016 for this router? I bought it in 9/2017

Can I have an update on this matter? Support contacted me 5 days ago, I replied immediately..and no word from anyone since then.

Your MR6400 is working with a SIM card directly or with a modem? you may check the external IP address of the router in 3G/4G or Internet part, is that a public IP address?

Im using it as 4g modem. The ip address is public, but as long as I don't switch router off it stays the same. As soon as the ip address changes no-ip doesn't update host. Everything is setup properly in router, but it cannot connect to no-ip for some reason. Support still hasn't replied on the matter, I'm thinking on selling it and buying another router. V1 mr6400 firmware is not updated from 2016

what's the WAN IP address on your router ? When you ping the DNS, is the IP address be the same on the router?
Are you able to use the WAN IP+ port to remote access your router's web interface?

I guess v2 don't have this problem. They haven't updated the firmware from 2016 for v1. I have that latest firmware installed on my v1
