about how to pair them, you can do this, pair A and B first. Then pair B or A with C. last C or A or B and D. Each time pair two devices.

As I have three computers to connect, Then I will remove the old TP-Link PA2010P from the router and follow your advices pairing all 3 of them.
Thank you.

Interesting, thanks! I'm curious:
1) If we introduce a single PA2010 (AV200) into a network of PA4010 (AV600), would the speed between every node drop to 200 Mbps or just between the PA2010 and any other node (leaving any pair of PA4010s at 600 Mbps bilaterally)? Could the pairing order affect this (that is, might speed only be reduced between the AV200 and the particular AV400 it was manually paired with in an existing network of at least 3 AV600)?
2) If we introduce a single PA2010 into a network of PA4010, would the PA2010 reintroduce the security risk with respect to the 2016 MAC -> Password (PWD or DAK) security fix? Could the pairing order affect this?
Thank you.

Hello. Sorry for bumping an old topic but my question is related so I wanted to keep on here. Here is my question:
I've got 1 piece of TP-PA2010 which I bought in 2013. The other piece was lost several years ago, so I can't use it for years.
Recently I've found a seller who sells 1 piece of TP-PA4010 at a suitable price.
If I buy that 1 piece of TP-PA4010, does it work / communicate with the TP-PA2010 ?

Good day.
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
All our powerline adapters are compatible with each other.
So normally they should work together with each other.
Since it was the second hand product, please make sure warranty service is included if they failed to work;
Thanks a lot.

@Solla-topee thank you for the answer. That was what I expecting. Those units must have been compatible across different models and speeds. Now I can confidently buy that one piece.
