Archer C1200 V2 randomly reboots
When my WDR3600 died after 4 years of duty without any issues I got a C1200 V2. The newest firmware version was installed instantly via the auto update (it's the same as on the website, I checked) and it was set up properly. However, it reboots randomly - not very often, but still. I have encountered it about a dozen times during my first year of ownership now and it is really annoying. There is no heavy load on the device at all, my internet is only 20/5 Mbit and there is only one PC wired to it, and one PC / one tablet / two mobile phones via WLAN - but never at the same time, usually it's only one mobile phone using the WLAN.
I have no explanation for this and recently it rebooted while i was in an online multiplayer game, which is simply unacceptable. It just happened again today when I was lying in bed, surfing on my mobile phone like I've done thousands of times before...I don't know what's wrong with this device but I am kind of sick of it by now.
I have searched this community but I did not find anything recent about it, only with old firmwares for V1 devices. Does anybody have similar issues or even solutions?

What is the country version of your Archer C1200? You can find it on the back panel, next to the model number.

just had another random reboot, even with beta drivers - I just don't get why it's still happening...

Hello, what s the led status of the Archer C1200 when it reboots itself automatically?
Please use the original power adapter and try to change another socket to plug it.
Then try to hard reset it by holding the reset hole for 10s with it powered on to give it a go.
And may I know when and where did you buy this Archer C1200?
Good day.

what s the led status of the Archer C1200 when it reboots itself automatically?
when I've found out that it rebooted itself (it wasn't immidiate) there was only power led active I guess. I think when it reboots itself leds behave like in normal restart situation.
Please use the original power adapter and try to change another socket to plug it.
I'm using the original adapter, I'll try to plug it into another socket.
Then try to hard reset it by holding the reset hole for 10s with it powered on to give it a go.
I'll try that.
And may I know when and where did you buy this Archer C1200?

Thanks for your valued reply.
Take some time to test the suggestions mentioned above.
If still the same, you can contact the retailer to verify whether a replacement is qualified.
Good day.

There is a new firmware for Archer C1200 V3, released on 5/13/2020. Might worth to follow-up with tp-link support to see when the new firmware will be release for V2?

Same thing here
C1200 EU V2 reboots itself, quite often actually. Several times today. But not completely, it just drops wan/lan connections (those leds go out, power and wifi leds stay on) and recovers after a little while. Doesn't clear the log, here's a short summary if it helps at all.

This cycle repeats in the log may 4-5 times before it works again. Untill it fails again...really annoying.
