Is it possible to add some extra Security to the OpenVPN-Server by using credentials for a Login via OpenVPN-Client?

Sorry to tell you that there is no method to do that yet.
While below is the instruction to setup Openvpn you can refer to.

I am also searching for a solution. Without any password protection, anyone with a VPN file can connect. it is very bad for security.

At this point it's as if PPTP were more secure if all it takes is a text file with the certificate in it.
