I have a networking problem i want to take my internet connection with  from my ISP modem (desableling the dhcp server on the isp router) and through it on my TP-LINK TD-W8960N v

my isp router has the ip 192.168.1.1

I know that i will have to change the ip of my tplink something like 192.168.1.254 and to put this ip as static on the isp modem  

 

I triedn IPoE but it seems it dont works

Hi,

 

What is the current network topology?

 

Do you make the ISP router as bridge mode and connect it to the 8960N?

 

If so, the ISP router need connect to the LAN4/WAN port, and you need change the operation mode to wireless router mode.

After that, you can configure it with the parameters given by ISP.
