Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

The problem:

I have had four powerline adapters for four including the main one plugged into the router. Two of them work perfectly. Though as of recently, the one in my room does not provide any internet access despite the powerline LED being on.

Things I've Tried:

  • Turning them off and on again
  • Hard resetting them
  • Swapping the adapters around
  • Restarted the router
  • Plugging into different outlets in my room
  • Calling TP-Link's tech support twice
  • TP-Link's live chat

Model: TL-WPA281

Version: 3.1

Please help me.

Hi,

So the adapter which stops working is WPA281?

What is the light status of it?

With your device connected to it, what is the IP address and default gateway? Below is the instruction:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/838/

Have you ever tried to re-pair them?

And what kind of troubleshooting you have done with our tech support?

When and where did you buy this adapter?

Good day.
