Feature request: forward SMS messages
Hi,
I'm really enjoying my Archer MR600 and it performs very well indeed.
There's one feature that I think it lacks, though. My provider sends SMS messages warning me when I'm running out of data and other service alerts, but I don't want to have to keep going to the web interface to check for new messages. Instead, it would be helpful to be able to set up a forwarding number so that any messages received would be sent on to that. Then I wouldn't ever miss an important message!

@LoopyLu That's a good idea and I would like to use a similar feature (SMS forwarding, or E-Mail notification with content of SMS for the TP-LINK Archer MR6400. Sorry for my English, thank you!

Is there a feature update to the Tether app where we can set up to receive SMS messages instead of going in and logging in to the UI site? If none, I hope TP-Link would make an update to the app as I think this is a useful feature. I'm also facing difficulty receiving messages on the UI. It's showing that there are messages but I don't see any even when I reboot or restart the router.

SMS alerts would be a great feature indeed! Going to the interface every 30 minutes to check for important messages about my data limit is really tedious...

@Kevin_Z Please notify R&D that we need this option. I've missed SMS on my router that I have met bandwidth limit and I loose my connection.

Thank you all for the valued suggestions. We cannot guarantee you whether we will have this feature implemented on the router or app in the future, but we can keep forwarding your requests to the related department, they will need to evaluate the feasibility.

It would be a great feature, as sometimes service provider sends SMS which require urgent action.
