Archer C7 AC1750 - WiFi speed problem
Hello everyone,
Just bought Archer C7 AC1750, theoretical speed of the 5GHz WiFi is 1300 Mbps. However I can't see more that 500-520 Mbps. My link speed is 1000 Mbps. When I am connected with ethernet cable, I can easily get 920 - 930 Mbps from the ISP.
I have played with the WiFi settings a bit, set Channel Width to 80Mhz, turned off 2.4 Ghz etc.
I am using 2015 MacBook Pro, Iphone Xs for testing and 2017 27" iMAC. I have BT Smart Hub 6, when I am using that I can easily see 800+ Mbps.
Is the capacity of the router or something wrong with mine?
If this is the max capacity of the WiFi for per device, can you please suggest a router which can provide 1gb to one device?
Thanks in advance.

My router is Archer C7 AC1750 NOT A10.

Hi, I have replied to your another post, as upon confirming, it seems that your Oculus Headsets support 2*2 MIMO, that means it can associate maximum at 866 Mbps with the Archer C7, only when your device is a 3*3 MIMO can you get a link speed of 1300 Mbps.
BTW, this is not false advertising, you can google this or confirm this with the specifications with your Oculus Headsets tech support.

Could be ...
But how to explain that some people reached 1300 mbps with the Oculus 2 using other routers (from Asus to not mention it).
And why do I have the same limitation with my Galaxy S9 which is 4x4 MIMO then ?
Anyway, you are the fourth person from TP-Link support I speak to and it's the first time I hear about this MIMO limitation ...
