Hi,

I bought the new Mesh P9 and connected to my Fiber Gateway router. All my wifi devices are now connected to the P9 and my wired network to my router.

So now, i have a network and a sub-network (192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1). The problem is now my wired and wifi devices can not communicate between them.

Is there any solution for that? Can i connect the P9 as a bridged device?

Thanks

@Fernmac

Hello, does Deco P9 works in regular wireless router mode? Then the current issue would be normal due to the double NAT.

There are two solutions:

a. You can setup the main router as the bridge mode and use Deco P9 as main router only.

b. You can use the original main router and configure the Deco P9 as the access point. Then the devices connected to the two devices can access each other.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z

Thank you for answering. What is the difference of using P9 as a router or an access point? I mean, is there any inconvenient or performance drop? I use the main router to connect to internet and for the cabled network, i do not want to use it for wifi,

Thanks
