Device for the ISP speed test: ASUS GX502GW(32GB / 1TB SSD) with Intel 9560 WLAN adapter

- supporting up to 160MHz(at 5GHz DFS channel only) 2x2 802.11ac(theoretical link speed: 1.73Gbps / actual link speed: 1.1~1.5Gbps)

 

Router setting(for 5GHz)

1. MU-MIMO: Enabled

2. Airtime Fairness: Enabled

3. Transmission Power: High

4. Security: WPA2-PSK, AES

5. Smart Connect: Disabled

6. OFDMA: On

7. Mode: 802.11a/n/ac/ax

8. Channel: 120(DFS)

(2.4GHz is also turned on - Channel 11, 40MHz, WPA2-PSK(AES), 802.11b/g/n/ax, high transmission power, airtime fairness: enabled)

(all other settings remain default)

 

Internet type: 1Gbps UL/DL-symetrical FTTB with CAT.5e

 

ISP speed test

1. L2 switch(authenicator) -(CAT.5e)- laptop

DL: ~950Mbps / UL: ~950Mbps / Avg. Ping: 2ms

2. L2 switch(authenicator) -(CAT.5e)- router(NAT(router) mode) -(CAT.5e)- laptop

DL: ~950Mbps / UL: ~950Mbps / Avg. Ping: 2ms

3. L2 switch(authenicator) -(CAT.5e)- router(NAT(router) mode) -(5GHz 802.11ac 2x2 160MHz)- laptop

DL: ~790Mbps / UL: ~570Mbps / Avg. Ping: 4ms

Thanks for your information, I got your point.

 

Try to adjust the position of the antennas. Below is the attachment you can reference.

 

After that, try to test the speed you can get and show us the results.
