Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

My Kogan wireless security cam won’t connect to my new Archer VR2800. All my other devices no problem - I have tried turning off the 5ghz band as it will only connect to 2.4ghz, but still nothing. Any advice please?

@Jooby try changing to WPA2/AES on the router and also check if the KOGAN ipcam supports WPA2/AES

Here's why i suggested that, I bought the new TP-Link Archer AX50 router and I have 2 KKMoon ipcams that would not connect to the new router using WPA/AES which was my wifi security setting on my previous wifi router (TD-W8960n) ... I changed the wifi security to WPA2/AES and boom, both ip cameras connected immediately. I hope you get your devices working too.

@Jooby

You can try what @CHIBOMAN said to change the encryption type. Besides, you can change other wireless settings to give it a go. Including wireless channel, channel width.

And please ensure that the firmware of the router is up to date.
