Model: Deco P7
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: version 1.3.1

Hi,

I have a new Fiber Internet connection and when I test:

- without a deco router in between it is: 500Mbps up and down

- with a deco router in between and via the deco app: 500Mbps up and down

- with a utp cable in my deco router connected to my laptop: 200Mbps up and 50Mbps down

- with the same utp cable without a deco router in between: 500Mbps up and down

So strange thing is when  test my speed with the "More -> Test speed" functionality in the deco app it reports 500Mbps up and down, but when I then test it via a cable in the main deco app it reports only 250Mbps up and 50Mbps down (consistently)

Is there a max speed limitation of the deco p7? I can't find anything.

Kind regards,

Lars

@vonklars I found it, it was in QOS which has a "Total Bandwidth". It was still using the old speed, even though it said "Via internet speedtest". Setting it to manual and to 500/500 solved the issue.

@vonklars

Hi Lars, thanks for your update. Glad to hear that you figured it out by changing the QoS parameter.
