We have an upstairs extension with our master bedroom now being on the other side of what was an external wall (so very thick). The WiFi in theaster bedroom is poor, so I bought a pair of M4's in the hope this will give us better WiFi in the bedroom - but it doesn't. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong? I've connected one Deco to the router (virgin media hub3) and connected fine. I've connected the 2nd just outside the door to the master bedroom (so on the inside of the old external wall). It connects ok but doesn't give any better signal in the bedroom. Please can I get some advice on what I should do? Have I bought the wrong product to do the job?

@Vickyw

Are they two Deco units on different floors? How about the LED status on the two Deco units. Is the source signal strength of the 2nd Deco is good?

How far between the bedroom with a poor signal and the slave Deco? When you are in that bedroom, how many signal bars do you have on your client? On the Deco app, please check if your client is connected to the nearest Deco.
