Via Parental Control I blocked the categorie 'Games' but it does not block all the .io games that my kids keep finding ;-)

I tried blocking them via websites, but thats very inefficient because there are way to much .io games/sites to filter them one by one.

I would like one or both of the following scenario's:

TP Link adds the .IO games to the games filter

TP Link allows me to filter/block on domain level. 

 

I'm sure there must be more people with compareble requirement to the parental control feature.

@Mdevente Have you been able to block any .IO games with the parental controls? I tried blocking a specific game and it didn't work.

 

I would second this request - please add .IO games to the library to choose from

Hi @Kevin_Z - do you have any tip or insight on this issue? it seems like many parents including myself are having hard times with the .io games while their children are using their computers and tablets for their remote learning at home.

@richpriest Whenever I try a wildcard as you've suggested, I get an error message - Is there another way to add the restriction to .io games as you've suggested?

Hi, have you tried to add iogames.space  as the domain name to have a look, and please also add the Games category into the blocked list?

By the way, may I know the model number of your Deco system?

I only can block game by game but can't totally block IO all games. Please assist as I am using M9 Plus. I had already block games category, but additional apps/website function I could not find IO games in the list.

Hi, Could you please check what are these websites categorized by TrendMicro:

https://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com

 

And on the additional apps/website function, could you please try to input the whole domain name for the specific game, not just IO games?

I noticed that most of the IO games domain names have the same prefix, such as:

https://iogames.space/paper-io  

https://iogames.space/aquapark-io;

Would it work if we add https://iogames.space on the additional apps/websites?
