Unable to connect PS4 to wifi when using range extender RE450
Hello,
I have just purchased an RE450 to extend the range of my WiFi to the back of the house and garden (the main router being at the front of the house). I set it up using the WPS button on my router and it seemed to work just fine. Pretty much all of my devices are able to connect to the WiFi, with the expection of the children's PS4. It either fails to acquire an IP address or if it does manage to get an IP address, it then fails to connect to the internet. As soon as I unplug the range extender, the PS4 is able to reconnect to the WiFi - it had no problem connecting to it until I set up the range extender.
The PS4 is halfway between the main router and the range extender, if that makes any difference. I can't see the PS4 listed in the devices connected to the router (BT Home Hub 5), or on the Tether app. What is also strange is that I have a number of clients, both on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, that are listed as "unknown" with an IP address of 0.0.0.0. The app doesn't list any blocked clients.
I really need the range extender, but it'll be WWIII if my children can't get on their playstation!!
Thanks in advance,
Arnaud
