@Kevin_Z

Ik ben hier volledig mee akkoord. Dit zou moeten kunnen. Ook mesh netwerk tussen 2 routes in acces point mode... Heb beneden en boven netwerk kabel liggen... Zou handig zijn met 2 acces points in mesh mode...

Dear, why they don't work on it? Are the customers NOT important enough...? Every other brand has it... because it is a normaal feature. People buy those one mesh device because they think it is a normal situation. Also ion the one mesh page, there is a picture with one mesh with multiple routes and extenders... SO what do people think??? Please listen to the customers and give a fix...

I will say more. New routers with onemash don't even support WDS. I was unable to connect the old TL-WR2543 to the AX73 in WDS mode. Tech support said he was just very old. Then I install DD-WRT firmware on TL-WR2543 and it worked! Any mode! Free DD-WRT works better than the official firmware. Enthusiasts share a higher quality product for free than TP-Link programmers. Shame. And the inability to connect two routers to the OneMash network is a double shame. Learn from ASUS....

@Kevin_Z, just bought couple of Archers C6 and this is extremely disappointing.
When choosing routers for my usecase I spent time and effort on research and chose your product over competitors only to discover that one-mesh is not working... the information you provide is extremely misleading as well as it is NOT obvious at all (hidden) that routers can't be combined into OneMesh network unless you deep really deep (which noone does until they get an issue like me and others in this thread).
Please, let me know what is the status of this issue and if the developers will address it in the future firmware update.
If you are not planning to work on it and fix it up- just let your customers know that. In that case I can simply return your gear and get a refund for a useless product + switch to another company.
Thanks.

@Goha

Sorry to disappoint you, while there is currently no plan to add the function to build up an Onemesh network between two routers, the Onemesh is mainly designed for routers and extenders.

You may refer to this article for more details about Onemesh:

@Kevin_Z

What you can always do is to set-up a WDS (Wireless Distribution System) - it's not exactly OneMesh, but very close. In most TP-link routers you can find this setting under System settings. There are a few good youtube videos on how to set it up.

Hope this helps!

Total disappointment why won’t one mesh work like easy mesh? Is this just a marking Decision to sell mesh only products.
