Deco m9 plus v2 update?
Hello, I would like to know if there will be a new update for this version. I bought this product thinking that I would solve my Internet connection problems, and I see that if it fulfills its function but has very limited functions and for the price it has I find that it does not meet the expectations, that is why I speak for many users who need to know if this version will have a new update since it has been many months and we have only received answers avoiding the subject.
Please we need to know if this version will have a new update and especially if you will have concisable improvements

This is driving me nuts.
I also created an extra TP link ID. Different Email, different password. Still no luck in logging in with the 'upgrade tool'.
I went up to the attic, found a very old macbook pro (running Windows 10). Tried to login with it - no dice.
If anyone knows how to run this 'upgrade tool' on Windows 10, please let me know. I can't get past the log in screen, it always reports wrong credentials.

@RichardVi I have done it with the latest version of Windows 10 and I have not had any inconvenience, your case seems very strange to me

Have you read this topic? This case is not strange, many people report the problems with Windows 10 and the updater tool.
What is strange is that a company like TP-link markets a router which can only be controlled using an app (despite promising a web interface). Then making it so that the new firmaware update can not be done using that app. Then creating a special tool for the firmware update that doesn't run on many Windows 10 machines.
That's whats strange.
I have updated my Deco M9. How? By asking my neighboor, a complete computer illaterate, to use his Macbook, connect it to my Deco and run the updater tool.
Once more: this is embarrasing. TP-Link should fix this asap. And I'm not ranting here, this problem is for almost a year now. Check their website:

Updated 10-10-2019 07:11:27 AM: Currently, only some models support web-based management, but don’t worry, other models will support this feature via firmware updates in the future.
Make good on your promise TP-Link!!!

@RichardVi I totally understand you friend, it was me who opened this post because I found it very unprofessional that they do not update this product for months, do not take it badly just seems strange, as I said I have windows 10 always up to date and I was able to update it, already depends on each computer and each router.

Hello,
The firmware upgrade issue had been resolved already, can you please confirm which Upgrade Tool are you using? Please download it from the TP-Link official website:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Utility
If still failed, we will need to arrange a remote session to help you with the upgrade, thanks.

It did still fail, but an online session is not nescessary. I used an Apple to update my Deco's already. I downloaded the official upgrade tool here: https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202007/20200715/M9Plus_2.0_upgrade_tool_v1.1.1_Windows.zip
