Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.4 build 20200221

Hi,

ive recently upgraded to deco M5 and its very good.
I used to use dyndns for access to security cameras (used a dyndns.org account).

deco seems to only support its own tplinkdns.com - no problem with that, but how do I input the ddns settings into the networked camera system.
I need a user name and password and cannot find these.

Old set up - needing to be updated:

here are the deco settings

Any help will be appreciated

thanks

Matthew

@MatthewG

Hello Matthew,

Is there that the DDNS setting on your security camera doesn't support the TP-Link DDNS yet, so you cannot configure it on your camera.

On the Deco app, you can create your own TP-Link DDNS domain and open the corresponding port for your camera, then you will be able to view your camera from an outside network via this domain.

Below is the guide to open some specific port for your camera on the Deco app:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1797/

Hopefully, that answers your question but let us know if you need more details.
