Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Bought a new Deco M5 2 pack and set it up the first 2 days it has worked perfectly, and then the problems started.
You can use it for a while and then both units go offline, solid red light, sometimes it goes online by itself and sometims I have to unplug and then plug it back in.

How can I achieve a stable connection?

Hi, sorry to respond late.

We will do some troubleshooting and try to fix it first. Please confirm below:
1. What is the current network topology? How do you connect the two M5 together?

2. What about the stability of the front-end device when the M5 shows a red LED and stops working? With your computer connected to the modem directly, what are the IP address and default gateway? Below is the instruction to get it: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/838/

3. How often it loses connection? Have you ever tried to configure the 2nd Deco as the main unit to do a comparison test? Instruction as below: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2400/

4. Besides, what is the current hardware and firmware version? Ensure both Deco M5s are running the latest firmware.

Good day.
