Hello

I am trying to sort out my TP Link WPA4220 by using the app on my MAC. Whenever I try to open the app it asks for my password as OASSCRIPT wants to make changes - Is this normal ?

Thanks in advance

@LaurieUK

Good day.

Sorry for the delay.

Since the power-line utility is developed by TP-Link, instead of the authorized programs from the MacOS store, Mac will detect it as an insecure utility and require the owner’s permission to run the program.

But this power-line utility is pretty safe.

And there are also some discussion on the Apple community and you could have a look: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7652867

Thank you very much.

@LaurieUK

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Can I have a picture of the page when it asked to input the username and password?

If it is asking for the log in username and password of the power line adapters, then it Is normal.

Thank you very much.
