TL-MR100 disconnected many times per day
I've been facing frequent disconnects like other MR models. Signal strenght is 100% and router to my device distance is not more than 3 meter.
So far I've tried following steps.
- Creating custom network profile
- Setting 4G only mode
- Setting channel number to 1
- Setting DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Disabling firewall
- Setting channel width to fix value. (tried both 20MHz & 40MHz)
None of these worked. Also disconnects doens't happen at fix time, it's random. Something it happanes twice in a minute.
So far I've seen only following text in the log when disconnect-reconnect happens.

@Kevin_Z I am also experiencing the same problem. It can happen several times in an hour. Actually the same provider (different SIM) is used in my phone and the connection is stable. My first intention is to replace my phone with TL-MR100 as wireless router to save my phone battery. But the problem with the disconnection is quite disturbing.
Please find below some information about the problem:
1. Ensure you are running the latest firmware TL-MR100(EU)_V1_201016 first.
<-- Verified, it is the latest firmware
2. When you all mention the connection is not stable, are both the wired connection and wireless connection dropping when connected to the MR100? Can you still see the wireless signal from the MR100 on the wireless devices? Try to modify the wireless settings, such as wireless channel to 1/6/11, channel width to 20MHz, then reboot the router and reconnect to the network to confirm.
<-- There is no problem with the wireless (WiFi) signal, my devices are still connected to the TL-MR100. Internet is disconnected for just second and reconnects. While surfing on internet it wont get any notice but in call it affects a lot.
3. Who is the SIM card carrier? Are you able to get a stable internet if you put the SIM card on a phone?
<-- Airtel(India). As mentioned above I get a stable connection with my phone using the same provider (same SIM)
4. Please confirm if the band is changed to a different one when it loses the connection, you may compare that when the internet is working fine and when you lose the connection. Try to manually select one.
<-- I have manually selected band 1,6,11 for same time. Even then I see a quick drop in connection. Internet is disconnected for just second and reconnects.
5. I have saved primary DNS is 8.8.8.8 and secondary DNS is 8.8.4.4.

Do you mean the beta firmware to selection the band manually? If yes, here it is:

As per the log you attached, it seems the 2.4G network disconnect frequently, can you please confirm if the channel is switching frequently, you may try to choose a clearer channel, you can also select a band manually, to avoid any interference, then confirm if the issue still happens.

When you mention you tried to choose band 1/6/11, does this refer to the wireless channel? You are suggested to select the LTE band manually to give it a go, if the disconnect was caused by the band switching. You may monitor this first, confirm what is the band on the web interface page when the internet is working, what is that when it disconnects then connects back.

thank you for the reply
can you please tell me where i can check if the band or channels are switching frequently? (fyi i have a different brand router 5 meters away, whose connected devices are not experiencing issues)
also when i try to connect to the MR-6400v5 wifi network with my mobile to access the router interface, it's very very slow.
i scheduled a reboot every day at 3.00 AM to try to mitigate any of those effects, with no luck so far.

As for the band, you may check it when the connection is working properly; Login to the web interface page again after the connection drops, compare if it is still the same band;
As for the wireless channels, you may run a Wi-Fi analyzer to verify what are the channels of your neighbors, choose a different one, then monitor.
BTW, have you upgraded to the beta firmware we provided here? If not yet, give it a go first:
