Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 0.9.1 v006d.0 Build 200708 Beta.51748n

Hi all,

as I have some problems with network drops, I checked out the product page and saw, that a new firmware is recommended, I was on 180410.

Now I upgraded, but the configuration option for interface grouping is now gone :O

Same as this fellow here for another model:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/224900

Please fix this asap, I am actively using this feature and need to make a change.

And one more thing: I find it a bit disturbing that on the product page a firmware upgrade is recommended ("This firmware has enhanced the performance and it's recommended to upgrade to this firmware for better experience.") and after installation, I notice it is a BETA (see FW version number)? The download page does not say anything about beta:

Gruß,

Sebastian

@slimjim69

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Our engineers are working on it and once there is any updated news, I would come back to you.

As for the beta firmware on the official websites, we would try to add some release notes under it which marked out the beta firmware and if there is no special issues on the current firmware, there is no need to update to the beta firmware;

Really sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

@Sunshine

Hi, in the latest release in April this was not fixed. Any update on this?

@F1p

Hi, could you please double-check the model number and I guess you talked about Archer VR2800, not VR2800V?

And can I have a picture of the web UI without interface grouping?

Thank you.

@TP-Link Hi,

Yes sorry you are correct -

Firmware Version:0.7.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 210313 Rel.74106n

Hardware Version:Archer VR2800 v1 00000000

The grouping must still be active in the background as my LAN ports are still isolated, but i cannot modify!
