TP-Link C6 Router having the DNS port (53) open to all world

Hello All,
I am using a C6 Router, and it's having the 53 port open. I haven't configured any port forwarding rules or any virtual servers. Can anyone help find out why this port is open?

Hello,
How do you test if the 53 port is opened in your network? Ensure there is no virtual server rules on the C6 web interface, you may also try to disable the UPnP and see what happens.

@svr7 can anyone help me what's wrong here. I can also see my router is acting as a DNS server.

Hello, sorry that we didn't pick up your post timely.
Port 53 is used for DNS. As per the info you provided, it shows you are trying to resolve this domain arstechnica.com and the traffic is transmitted via port 53, but this doesn't mean port 53 is open on the C6. Can you confirm how did you test it's opened again?
