My RE220 wifi extender which previously connected to my router- ZTE (MF283+) suddenly stopped working after I restarted my router. I tried a lot of things ; resetting the RE220; Changing the region on my router; changing the SSID etc nothing worked.

Eventually, I prayed and asked God for help since all the suggestions on the internet did not work and no technician could help. As I was about giving up, my wife suggested i use my laptop to connect to the TP-LINK RE220 instead of my mobile phone, and that resolved it.

I am putting this out here to help any anyone with a similar problem.
