Archer T2U Plus needs new driver for MacOS Big Sur (11.0)
Basically I have the Archer T2U Plus and it was working fine with the latest Catalina driver.
When trying to install on Big Sur Beta though, the driver installation always fails and the antenna is not detected properly.
This is because Apple changed the driver installation backbone to DriverKit and all drivers have to be updated to support Big Sur.
Seeing as a lot of people around the world use this Wi-fi antenna, your development team should update the driver for Big Sur.
Please, also let me know if there is some sort of workaround to get it to work under Big Sur.

I got a repsone from the TP-Link customer service and they recommend I downgrade to the previous IOS version.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for another router?

@unknownharris April 2021 and no Mac OS 11 driver for my Archer T2U Plus. Unbelievably bad advice from TP link in this thread... 1) install the legacy driver by bypassing OS security, or 2) downgrade to Catalina. (Hello!? I'm running an M1 Mac!). Fortunately it was only $20. Time to start considering another brand. TP Link you're losing us here....

I see new drivers for the T2U Plus have been released for Windows as recently as January of 2021 for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (all separate releases), and yet no driver updates have been provided for macOS since January of 2020. It will soon be almost 7 months since Big Sur was released, and even longer than that since beta versions would have been available to TP-Link developers. What is going on?

Why there is no update? Really a waste of Money. I'll never buy anything from tp-link again. Even those chinese adapters from AE working on BigSur.

@JackTheSon Hello,
I‘m afraid so far there is still no update on the BigSur driver, Apple has updated a lot of new features on the macOS 11.0 and the new driver development cycle take longer time. Our team is still working with chipset manufacturers for the BigSur driver
Once there is an update, we will put it on the official website, please kindly keep your eyes on our TP-Link official website.

@unknownharris It has been a year now. Why is this still not fixed? When I paid for your product you got my money immediately and I cannot use it. Kinda like selling a car that is not yet compatible with a fuel source. This is not cool
