Hi,

In the guide it says that the password is same as my router in tp link extender WA850RE but when i try to connect to the internet extender it keep telling me that the password is wrong, even that im succeeding to log in with the same password to the router.

Please your help.

May I know the model number of your home router?

Did you set up the 850RE via WPS button?

If yes, please try to reset the 850RE and set up again via Tether APP or web interface, such as

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1373/
