Receiving message saying TP- link connected but no internet.so cannot progress on tether app set up option.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

Before the setup, since RE220 hasn’t been linked to the router so it is normal that there is no internet service;

But you could still finish the set up.

If you are set up via Tether, please make sure the smart phone connected to the default Wi-Fi of RE220;

@Solla-topee . Thanks this worked. Perhaps the instructions supplied with the hardware should stress the importance of disconnecting from your normal network before configuration. We are not all techies! Thanks again for your help. Take care Steve
