Hi, my 5ghz extended network keeps dropping (web pages dont load), even though I am still connected to the 5ghz network on the extender. Note that my 2.4ghz works consistently even when the 5ghz network does not work.

When this happens, and I log onto the web management page I can see an amber hazard light. What can I do to fix this issue?

@thekillaturtle

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

Did the 5ghz LED turn off as well when it is disconnected?

May I know the model number of your home router?

How long have you had the RE450 already?

When the 5ghz disconnected, what did you do to recover the connection, restart the RE450 or would it come back automatically?

Thanks a lot.

@Solla-topee

hi, ive had the extender for no more than a week. the blue light for the 5ghz connection seems to stay on during the drop out.

to recover the connection I reboot the extender via the web management page. when it comes back on the 5ghz network seems functional again.

@thekillaturtle

Good day,

Thanks a lot for your time and patience.

We would like to follow up on your case by email and please have a check of your email box later.

At the same time, have you tried to change the IP address and default gateway when the 5ghz dropped out?

And please also try to ping the gateway to check the connection as well;

Thanks a lot.
