Model: RE650
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have just bought a RE650 and want to add to the existing TP-link extender RE450 (which works fine). I cannot find the instructions for doing this.  If I just plug the extender into the electrical outlet, the 2.4/5 GHZ LED's do not turn on.  What should I do?

@FrankJ

Good day,

Sorry for the delay.

Did RE450 have the different SSID as the main router

If yes, the configuration on the RE650 is just the same as how you set up RE450 to the main router,  you might need to pick up the 2.4/5ghz SSID of the RE450 and input the password;

And the following link Is how to set up via Tether APP: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1373/

Thank you very much!
