Model: Deco
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20201013

I have just set up my Deco X20 at home. Using a 1gbps connect.

Connection is through a secondary link but not many devices are online at this time.

I am experiencing very slow download speed (4-5mpbs) vs 110+ mbps upload.

@freescoring

Good day,

Could you please help me check the following information and we would like to forward your case to the senior engineers:

1. Did the speed slow down since the firmware upgrade?

--if not, there is no need to downgrade the firmware

2. Did the Deco work on the router mode, or AP mode?

3.What is the Speed test result on the App?

4. Did all the mobile devices have the same issue?

5. Please make sure the Qos is set up to standard and firewall, Parental control are disabled recently;

Then, please help us run a simple test:

--only leave the main Deco and connect the computer directly to the X20 via Ethernet cable, then run a speedtest and provide us the screen-shots;

Thanks a lot for your understanding and support.

Wish you a happy new year and Merry Christmas.
