While playing playstation I have been experiencing packet loss each 5 minutes on the dot. It's connected to my extender. Could this be the extenders fault and if so what should I do?

@Riley37262

Hey

That seems a rather strange behavior, have you tried changing the channel on the main router incase this is interference from another neighboring AP?

Something like WiFi Analyser on android will tell you what channels are busy, on 2.4ghz this is likely them all... 5ghz you should have some room to move to a free channel.   From experience channels 44 / 48 I find quite good as most of my neighbors routers will automatically default to 36 or 40 and they never change it (likely dont know how too)

Give that a try first :)

Phil
