Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(5553)

Hello, I updated to firmware 1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(5553) because under new features it says "Add support for WDS." but I can't seem to find the WDS option anywhere. Where can I find that option?

Thanks Ivaylo for his suggestions.

The web UI may be a slightly different from some other Archer models, you may find the WDS option under Advanced->Wireless->WDS as below:

Have you tried to look under Advanced=>System tools=>System parameters

Scrolling down, you should see the WDS settings.

If still not visible hard reset (Method 1) the router and re-configure from scratch.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

The c80 doesn't have the UI with those options. And in order to install the 1.5 firmware you HAVE to do a factory reset. Are you familiar with that router at all?

I personally don't own C80, but judging by the new router GUI experience that option is usually placed there - hence my suggestion to look in that menu.

The reason I pointed you to hard reset procedure is that not always FW upgrade goes smoothly and doing that can fix the issue.

In the support portal about this FW update it's said:

"...After upgrade this firmware, it will reset the old configuration file. So please kindly backup your old profile firstly before upgrading."

That doesn't make the hard reset procedure redundant.

Edit: Obviously that was implemented just now in a dedicated menu.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
