Hello,

 

I have for 1 year now the TL-PA8010P-KIT, it was working very good for me till last 1-2 months. I have 1 extender next to my router and 1 extender in the other room. The last months the house symbol is orange and sometimes green. I don't no what to do, I have done many resets etc... Because the house symbol is orange my internet is very bad and before that it was always very good. Can somebody help me?

I had the AV2000 for around 18 months and discovered every 6-8 months they needed time off  :)    

 

Basically I just unplugged them from the power overnight (8-12 hours) and next day things where back to normal.  

 

I did read something online about static noise build-up and the person recommended this.   I was dubious about the static noise claim, seemed like a cop out but in fairness it worked...

it was working good for like 15 minutes and than the house symbol was again orange and the connection was really bad. 
It is very strange because when I use another extender from another company my internet is working good. 
Anyway thanks for the tip but it isn't working for me :(

Hi

Did both of them have an orange light, or just the slave unit?

Is there another wall socket to plug this adapter?

And if possible, please also try to turn on the VDSL mode to see if that helped:

Thanks for the response.

 

Just the slave unit has the orange light.

Their is not another wall socket to plug it in, it is strange because the first 10-11 months it was very good. 
I have download the tpPLC app (on my

iphone) but can't find the VDSL mode?

The firmware is up to date i have checked it on the app.
