Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 201102 Rel.51099n

My TL-WA860RE that I use to extend my wifi signal disconnect many times per day, its position is defined "good" by the smartphone app.

My model is a Technicolor TG789vac v2 with: software ver. 16.3, firmware ver. 16.3.7636-2921002-20170419153951

 

The modem connection is stable and it never disconnects.

Hi,

Would the RE and signal light turn off when the connection dropped out?

Will you get any error message on the mobile device when it disconnected from the internet service?

How many devices that are connected to the 860RE and did all of them have the same issue?

If possible, please try to change the wireless channel on the Technicolor router, such as channel 11 for the 2.4ghz;

By the way, how long have you had the 860RE and when did this issue start?

@TP-Link I tried to change the wireless channel and the problem disappeared.  What could have been the problem?
