Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.1.0 Build 200527 Rel.30878

Hi!

I got TP-Link TD-W8961N. My ADSL connection is stable 20 Mbps.

But every time I use Bluetooth headhones or transfer files with Bluetooth download speed drops immidietly from 2500 kB/s to ~200 kB/s. And goes up to 2500 kB/s immedietly after pausing audio on Bluetooth headhones.

Its not problem with devices using Wifi, but with router instead. I tried it with different phones, laptops, PC and couple different Bluetooth devices, results same: Wifi speed drops similarly. l tried other routers from ZTE and D-link and they dont affected with this problem, internet speed stays stable.

I tried changing wifi channels 1-11 and width of channel from 40Mhz to 20Mhz it had no affect. I changed signal strengh and type b/g/n it had no affect. I tried using bluetooth devices near routed or phones, laptops and speed wasnt affected. Speed of wifi drops only when using wifi/bluetooth on same device.

My ADSL line parameters:

Also Wifi Tx error count and Tx drop cout goes UP

So what should I do?

@alex34325

Thank you for posting on the TP-Link Community.

As per your description, it seems the issue happens only when you use the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the same device, am I right? As far as I can understand, there seems to be interference between the 2.4G and the Bluetooth, do you mean there is no issue when using the ZTE and D-LINK? Can I have the model number of those devices?

Does this issue happen when you first use this modem or was it working fine before?

Yes it happens only when I use the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the same device.

There seems to be interference between the 2.4G and the Bluetooth. It started happening from first time I started using this modem.

I tested it with ZTE ZXHN H108N and D-Link DSL-2750U, and there is no interferences.

From what I gathered there is some superposition between WIFI and Bluetooth signals. Another interesting point is both ZTE and D-Link work on 2452MHz - 2472MHz, but my TP-Link TD-W8961N works on 2462MHz - 2482MHz. From what I gathered Bluetooth working on 2446.5 - 2483.5 MHz. So maybe all my Bluetooth devices working on upper part of frequency and WiFi and Bluetooth signals colliding somewhere in 2482 - 2483.5 MHz range?
