Hi All,

After some detail on experiences with fibre to the premises NBN connections. My understanding is that NBN will be installing a modem as part of their install.

 

I'm looking at getting the Deco M5 mesh system. Anyone know of these can just plug straight into the NBN modem and work? Or do I need to purchase something else to go in between?

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Please check the following information, then Deco would work fine with NBN:

  1. NBN modem could provide Ethernet connection for Deco, not DSL/phone line or other connection method;
  2. There is no limitation on the internet service provider, like third party routers not allowed;
