Now the power led and wireless Led is solid on but l cannot find the extender via the app therefore l cannot follow the next step on the tether app and complete the process what should l do ????

may I know the model number of your extender?
Did you set it up via the WPS button?
--if yes, the extender might copy the SSID of the main router;
If possible, please reset the extender and set it up via Tether APP to have a look:

or you could turn off the main router, then connect the same SSID again and check on the APP to see if there is any local device;
