Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20201120 rel.50399

This is about my Archer A7 as my local router...

Is it possible to connect the Archer A7 to an external VPN service?  Not make the Archer A7 a VPN server... just connect to a VPN service as a client so all my internal devices reach the world through that external VPN?

Using privatetunnel.com or openvpn.net

Thanks

@Milktoast

TP-Link home products currently don't support the VPN client settings, they only work as VPN servers (OpenVPN and PPTP). All of them also operate by default as VPN passthrough using IPSec, PPTP or L2TP. All you have to do is have the client software installed on the client devices and the VPN be based in one of the 3 mentioned protocols.

We do receive some other customer feedback that they wish we will support VPN client on the home routers, we have feedback all these requests to the related department, they will take this into serious consideration and will evaluate if we can add the support for it.
