Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20201203 Rel. 36965(5553)

I bought the Archer AX10 about 6 months ago and since then have been waiting for a fix for the poor 2.4GHz wifi, I have tried all the methods from the forums but none works. Manually setting the 2.4GHz band to "n" mode seems to work partially.

Also the smart connect is function is totally useless constantly throwing my WiFi 6 enabled phone on the 2.4 ghz band and keeping Google home on the 5GHz band instead.

@Aashish_AS

Have you tried with different 2.4G channels on the AX10? Please ensure the Transmit Power on it is on High mode.

As for the Smart Connect, how about other devices connected to the AX10 network? Are they connecting to the 2.4G or 5G as required? What is the Android OS of the Galaxy S10? Ensure it is up-to-date.

It's on Android11, other WiFi 6 devices also connect to 2.4ghz instead of WiFi 6 enabled 5ghz band. Transmit power is 100% and distance from router is 5metres at max.
