Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.3 Build 20210203 Rel. 68223

As you can see from the attached screenshots the Router speed and Deco Speed test show ~100Mbs/100Mbs up/dn speeds however the Deco WiFi Assistant (on phone) and OKLA Speedtest on wireless laptop yield only 16Mbs/5Mbs up/dn

Current setup is Wan IP 10.0.0.10 - >  Deco (M5) Router mode (IP = 10.0.0.11 WAN = 172.16.0.1)

Any ideas?

@trialer

Hi,

The speedtest via WiFi assistant would display the current wireless speed on the mobile phone;

And the speedtest under the Advanced page is the speed between the main Deco and ISP modem, or the internet bandwidth;

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link correct. Considering that the M5 are all connected via Ethernet backhaul and wireless devices are 1m away and no other traffic on the LAN, why the slow wireless speed?
