Any ideas:

powerline adapters connected to Archer router work fine. However, about every few days, either of the adapters will not connect to devices. The powerline light is on. 

Power save mode disabled on the base unit

Latest firmware

on the tpPLC page, the blue icons are greyed out on the adapter which is not transmitting. Happens to both adapters randomly.  

Turn off and turn on the adapter fixes but any ideas how to stop this happening??

Thank you for your clear post. 

Do you mean powerline Led is Solid On when one of the extender lost Internet?  May I know when did you purchase the powerline extenders and when did this issue begins. 

At that time, make sure computer is connected to that powerline extender by cable or by WiFi, and e check the IP address and gateway  and send us a photo, thank you.

Please ping IPv4 default gateway, and send us the ping result at that time:
