Hello All,
We had a remote troubleshooting session with TP-Link Technical team. Here are steps that helped to see 4G+ sign finally. But it didn't helped me.
1. Engineer try to register the SIM with a different network. (In my case Airtel to some other network. By manually searching the network providers. Previously the network selection search was set to AUTO. It was changed to Manual).
2. It didn't worked. Again we set the network back to Airtel. (By the way the Auto setting was not reverted back).
3. Changed the Band selection to Band 1 and Band 40. The router started showing 4G+ sign. We did a speed test. The download speed was nearly 25Mbps. The upload speed was 0.6 Mbps. The router showed it connected with band 40 and the technical engineer said its doing the carrier aggregation by using band-40.
4. We again changed the setting back to Band 1 and Band 3. This time the 4G+ sign didn't appear. It went back to 4G. When i tried the speed test the download speed was close to 17Mbps. And the upload speed was close to 10Mbps.
5. I did another test by selecting only band 40. This time even it was showing 4G+ sign. Not sure how it was with only one band. But the speed test results are similar to the 4G+ results above. No improvement on upload speed.
So in my case the carrier aggregation doesn't yield any fruitful results. With just Band 1, I was getting better speed even though it was 4G.
Hope it helps someone.

Thanks for the update friend!!
I upgraded the firmware during the technical troubeshooting session with TP_Link team. As i mentioned in my last post, the 4G+ works only with a specific combination and that doesn't provide a better speed. (This is with Airtel SIM)
I haven't tried with Jio SIM. May be i will try to do it later.
Thanks again for your update.

Same issue I am facing just bought this router 7 days ago,
I can exactly relate the whole problem.
Same things happening I am getting 4g+ only with 3,5
band.
I have installed two ldpa antenna getting 100% signal with >13 snr but still not getting 4g+ for any othwr band combination except 3,5.
Now don't say check with your provider blah blah.
@Suu you guys made fool us only.
I called two times support team waited 20 mins each time they picked up phone and disconnect then.
I am going to return this product with honest review on Amazon and Flipkart so that you guys dont dare to fool and waste our time.
Disgusting and totally unacceptable shame on you guys @Support for such support and product.
