Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20210204 Rel. 50164

My home network has two devices which have a problem to join a default network created by a Deco X60. First one is a Dell laptop under Windows 7 and the second one is a Mac mini M1.

I found a workaround by creating a guest network with only 2.4 GHz radio powered default network and configuring those two devices to use it. In this way, the other devices can use the default network powered by 2.4 and 5GHz radios.

The Mac mini M1 OS version is 11.2.3 but the problem existed in previous versions.

@DecoFan

Hi, would there be any error message when they failed to connect?

If temporarily turning off the 5ghz of the main network, would they be able to connect?

Please also make sure the security mode is on WPA/PSK, and WPA3 is temporarily disabled;

As for the Dell PC, could you please refer to this link to check the system info and driver info:

Thank you very much.
